What is removed
- Sign-in credentials, active sessions and push-notification registrations.
- Friendships, pending invitations and direct conversations involving your account.
- Your group messages and uploaded media.
- Your profile email, username and picture. A minimal reference may display as “Deleted account”.
- Events you own are cancelled; their title, location and note are cleared.
Media access is revoked immediately. Previously issued media links can remain usable for up to 60 seconds. Storage deletion is queued with a one-hour safety delay and retried if needed.
What may remain
- Other participants’ unrelated contributions and downloaded copies.
- Personal records on your device and files you exported. These are not remotely erased by account deletion.
- Limited de-identified references needed for shared-event relationships.
- Report evidence for up to 90 days after resolution, no more than 180 days from creation; moderation audit records for up to 365 days.
- Closed support and account-deletion correspondence for 90 days, unless needed for a dispute or legal obligation.
- Records in encrypted backups until they are removed under the retention process. Routine rotation is 14 days locally and 30 days in cloud storage, with at least the newest three copies kept. Separate recovery copies require manual removal.
Limited records may also be retained for legal obligations, security incidents or disputes. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
